I don't know where to get the "Driver-package" as it doesn't seem to be there.
At that point I did the Brother Printer]# bash linux-brprinter-installer-*.*.*-* HL-L2340DW Using the f4 key to invoke a terminal program in the directory where both of these files were stored on my computer I did SU and entered "root". I download this and attempted to us it to install one of the other files posted there which I assumed was the driver for that printer (Brother Printer/hll2340dlpr-3.2.) using the technique describe there. This took me to the brother website where I located (linux-brprinter-installer-2.1.1-1.gz a driver installer).
